Nate, a North End resident, looked at the electrical substation building, built in 1909, and envisioned the bricked up windows looking like real windows. Nate accomplished this effect with photography, Photoshop and large format banner printing. Nate got permission from the buildings owner—Nstar and had the images for the 21 windows and two doors printed and installed by Boston Building Wraps. The project was completed on Aug. 28, 2009 and has received warm reception by North End locals and tourists alike.
